Mr. & Mrs. Lynn Shore joined our community from the Denver area in 1987. Both have been active members of the community ever since.

Mrs. Lynn was a realtor selling homes in all areas o fthe community for the Battlement Mesa Developers. She was the proprietor of Rita's, a ladies clothing store, a founding member of the Grand Valley Kiwanis club, a PEO member and has been a volunteer for Hospice of the Valle, Grand River Health's Meals on Wheels, taught those learning English as a second language for Garfield County Literacy, eas a volunteer for the fire department and an early member of the chamber of commerce. She was the manager of Saddleback Storage, a business developed by the Shores in 2003.

Mr. Lynn was responsible for managing all commercial and residential rental properties and all HOA's in Battlement Mesa until his retirement in 2008. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Parachute/Battlement Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the Battlement Mesa Metropolitan District, the Grand Valley Fire Protection District, Garfield County School District R-16, the Parachute/Battlement Mesa Parks & Recreation District and currently serving as a board member of the Battlement Mesa Service Association and the Grand River Hospital District.

Both are proud members of the Parachute/Battlement Mesa community and feel blessed and grateful to have been able to live, work and raise their family here.
